Designed for commercial silkscreening this printing ink is heavily pigmented and permanent. A thick and creamy consistency makes it a desirable medium for creating on textiles, as dyes for batiks, silk-screening, stenciling or block printing. It will not change the texture and softness of your fabric. Versatex colors are intermixable, water soluble, somewhat transparent and work best on light fabric. It s very effective on heavy canvas or filmy blends and may be brushed free hand directly on fabric. Colors are deepest when applied at packaged strength and become permanent when heat set properly. Extender may be added for pastels and translucent overlays. Mix colors with white for opaque pastels. Overlapping pastels yields new shades. Versatex will effectively print over light tones but will not hide dark tones.

This feature provides flexibility for the user to work with more colors without the ink drying in the screen, and provides for higher resolution printing without fear of clogging screens. They are archival, lightfast and permanent on most surfaces including fabric, paper, plastic, vinyl, leather, metal and more. Fabrics must be heat-set for permanence and durability.
